After lusting over the gorgeousness of the Summer 2016 mini lipgloss kit from Anastasia Beverly Hills, I jumped on the fall release the second it appeared on the ABH site! This set of six is perfect for the gloss lover who doesn’t want to be confined by just a few colors (the price is the equivalent of less than two full size glosses). After swatching, I’m ready to give you the low-down of my first impression below!
Maple is the metallic gloss and it has all the opacity of a non-shimmer gloss, but with this intense metallic reflection that reminds me of some of my favorite eyeshadows. Moving on, I wasn’t expecting to like Carla that much since I’m not a red gloss gal, but it’s one of those colors you slap on when you want to stand out. I’ve already got plans to pull this out for a party next week muahahaha.
Finally, I’m absolutely in love with Rum. If you have the Fudge gloss (or have seen me ramble about it on Instagram), it’s a tad bit darker making it a deeper nude for my lips without being straight up brown. I don’t know if I have ever seen a gloss this shade, with this opacity, that performs so well. I’ll be alternating Rum and Fudge this fall for sure!
