How is it February 2017 already!? February means Valentine’s Day and I’ve put together a few of my favorite pink/red/purple shadows so you can get your V-day on! These are perfect for date night or GALentine’s fun! Even if you are anti-Valentine’s, you have to admit that these shades do have that special something. If you want to ask one of these shades to be your Valentine this year, I will fully support. Check out my picks below!
If you are celebrating Valentine’s Day in outer space, this is what I would smear on my eyeballs if I were involved in your plans. However, I’m not sure how realistic this scenario really is but, regardless, it’s a great alternative shade to your everyday pink. Etsy, $10.

You already knew I was going to throw a Looxi shadow on this list! This is a new shade just release with Looxi’s Auroras 2 collection and is my hands down favorite from the collection. It was a very intense shimmer and can even moonlight as a foiled shadow if you wet your brush a little before application. Looxi, $5. (Save with code SPENCE10 at checkout.)

One of my original purchases from Ultimo Cosmetics and still one of my favorites! This pink duochrome reflects gold in the light. This is perfect if you are planning a candlelit dinner (or similar lighting) for V-day – it will play off the light beautifully. Etsy, $10.

If you aren’t convinced to buy this outright just from the swatch in the picture, let me further convince you. Juvia’s Place eyeshadows are some of the most pigmented on any (high-end, drugstore, indie) market right now. If you haven’t jumped on the Juvia’s Place wagon, can I suggest you dive into the Masquerade palette immediately? Juvia’s Place, $30. (Save with code DUPETHAT at checkout.)

Ignore the price for a moment and ask yourself this question: If you aren’t going to splurge for Valentine’s Day, then when? This is the holiday to break out the big guns! In this case that’s industry staple NARS. This iridescent rose gold shade is one of my favorite shadow shades ever! And I’m not the only one – this shade is constantly sold out. Sephora, $26.

Aside from the original Pink Panther movies being masterpieces of American film (kidding .. kind of), this shade fulfills all your metallic pink dreams. The color will pop on any skintone. Etsy, $10.

To finish off this list, I’m bringing you one of my favorites from a newer-to-me indie brand, Beauty Escape Cosmetics. This is the shade to get if you are going for the smokey sultry Valentine’s look. This will definitely turn heads – and hearts! Beauty Escape, $6.50.
