Auntie Jackie made sure Hot Girl Summer continued through fall and winter with her new eyeshadow palette collaboration with Anastasia Beverly Hills (ABH). Love it when another brown girl gets those coins!
This palette leaked on Sephora Canada’s website last week about two days ahead of the scheduled release date. That surely caused a lot of stress for the creators, but the world ate the news up! We’ve been waiting! I went ahead and scooped this palette from the ABH website ahead of the Sephora release on August 15th because I needed it in my hands immediately. And I’m absolutely thrilled to share my first impressions with you of this gorgeous 14-pan eyeshadow palette from Anastasia Beverly Hills and beauty influencer Jackie Aina.
For brown skin beauties, contouring products can be extremely hard to come by. While brands in recent years have done well to expand their foundation shades, there is still a gap in creating shades deep enough to contour the deepest foundation shade. I’ve selected eight contouring products to help you on your search for ultimate definition because who doesn’t want snatched cheekbones!
Spring has almost sprung and that means it’s time for new seasonal collection releases! We’ve seen a few announcements from Looxi Beauty, ColourPop, and now Anastasia Beverly Hills. I initially planned to hold off on purchasing the Anastasia Riviera palette ($45.00), but my car somehow drove to Ulta yesterday against my will and dropped me right at the entrance. I ain’t mad at it! And while I was there, I *had* to go ahead and pick it up right!? So today, I’m thrilled to bring you my first impressions of the Riviera palette in this post.
After the trauma Anastasia Beverly Hills (ABH) fans experienced with the Subculture formula fiasco, many were hesitant to purchase their next palette release, Prism. Me? I’m a die-hard ABH palette lover so Prism went right into my Sephora cart the day it released!
Something about the shade selection of this palette made me immediately perk up. The shades are so much more vibrant than other more muted palettes and the diversity of colors made me forget all about the woes of Subculture. I was willing to take the risk and purchase the palette – and I wasn’t disappointed when it arrived.Continue Reading

Excited probably isn’t even the word for my feelings around the debut of the ‘Nicole Glow’ Glow Kit from Anastasia Beverly Hills and Nicole Guerriero. Anastasia Beverly Hills had an INCREDIBLE Black Friday sale with discounts on everything on their website. I was able to purchase a few of their shadows and began immediately slathering them all over my eyes the first chance I got!
I went HAM during the Anastasia Beverly Hills Black Friday sale. With 60% off single eyeshadows who can blame me!? I picked up 8: ‘Red Earth’, ‘Sienna’, ‘Morocco’, Truffle Glitter’, ‘Black Diamond’, ‘Dragonfly’, ‘Mermaid’, and ‘Prussian Blue’.
Winter is my favorite season because I love being all bundled up! Whether that’s in my favorite sweater or in my favorite blanket, I’m all about being hugged up in some of my favorite things! However, my eyelids haven’t quite given up the dream of a colorful summer and they are having a hard time adjusting to the cold. So with that, I bring to you my pics for a much more colorful season than last year’s picks!
