ColourPop Cosmetics recently released a warm brown tone color collection named “Wild Child” and ya girl was dying over the lip colors so I went ahead purchased the eye palette, deepest blush and all three of the lippie stix which are melanted to the gawds, honey! Christmas came early for me this year! Coastal Scents sent me a box of goodies to play with this holiday season and I’ve dived right in! My favorites of the bunch include all six of the Revealed eyeshadow palettes and I’m going to be showing them off to you today!
I’ve had these palettes for a few weeks and I’ve been able to put them through the paces. I invited a few friends over to help me play around with all six pans because that is A LOT of eyeshadow and I needed some help. The quality is fantastic! Previously, I’ve only used their single eyeshadow pans so I wasn’t so sure about their full palettes, but some of the satin shades were especially stellar. I was also really impressed by the glitter shimmers. They were fairly bright, with very little fallout and they didn’t get everywhere as I was trying to apply them my lid. However, they weren’t as bright as some of the other glitter shadows I have. But a quick way around this is to add a bit of loose pigment on top of your eyeshadow to really make it pop. This way, you’ve got a great palette, and you only need to supplement it a little with little bit of pop! I did that on my look with the Revealed Smokey palette that you can read all about here.

It’s been dreary and raining a lot the past month in Austin and the sky has been a spectrum of gray for what seems like forever. Inspiration crept into my head after seeing the grays float overhead.

Auntie Jackie made sure Hot Girl Summer continued through fall and winter with her new eyeshadow palette collaboration with Anastasia Beverly Hills (ABH). Love it when another brown girl gets those coins!
This palette leaked on Sephora Canada’s website last week about two days ahead of the scheduled release date. That surely caused a lot of stress for the creators, but the world ate the news up! We’ve been waiting! I went ahead and scooped this palette from the ABH website ahead of the Sephora release on August 15th because I needed it in my hands immediately. And I’m absolutely thrilled to share my first impressions with you of this gorgeous 14-pan eyeshadow palette from Anastasia Beverly Hills and beauty influencer Jackie Aina.

Spring has almost sprung and that means it’s time for new seasonal collection releases! We’ve seen a few announcements from Looxi Beauty, ColourPop, and now Anastasia Beverly Hills. I initially planned to hold off on purchasing the Anastasia Riviera palette ($45.00), but my car somehow drove to Ulta yesterday against my will and dropped me right at the entrance. Even though Valentine’s Day has passed, my love for pink and red eyeshadow looks hasn’t been dampened! I livvveee for a clean shimmer pink eye look and I don’t think that will ever change. Huda Beauty’s Obsessions “Ruby” eyeshadow palette feels like it was created specifically for me because of it’s perfectly curated collection of nine pink, red, burgundy, and purple mattes and shimmers.
