Makeup Revolution was kind enough to send me their entire collaboration collection with Patricia Bright that came out last year. I was literally about to pass out when I opened it and saw the collab logo on all the packaging so firstly, thank you very much for making this review possible! I stan black beauty influencers who use their newfound platforms for good and I am truly happy to support Patricia Bright.

BH Cosmetics x ItsMyRayeRaye Collection is #GlowGoals
The second I heard Raye Boyce (@itsmyrayeraye) was launching a collection with BH Cosmetics, my ears perked up. BH’s last major collaboration with vlogger Carli Bybel was a HUGE success and I was immediately curious as to how they would top the quality and affordability of both Carli’s projects. I didn’t have to wonder long as Raye’s collection dropped right before the Thanksgiving holiday. I was set on supporting Raye so I ordered immediately and sat at my doorstep like a sad puppy until it came. Boy, was I in for a treat!
I’ll focus this post on my impressions of the palette as I have not yet washed (or tried) the brush set. I like to wash all new brushes before I use them because ain’t nobody know where those brush bristles have been! All I will say is they FELT amazing as I lightly brushed each one across my arm to check the softness and density. I have high hopes!

Oh Viseart, how I love thee! Seriously you guys. If I could purchase all of the palettes from this spectacular brand, I would. They have all the pigmentation a gal could dream for! First Impression: Anastasia Beverly Hills Sun Dipped Glow Kit ‘Bronzed’
Anastasia Beverly Hills’ Glow Kits are all the rage this summer. She promised a glowing summer and the Glow Kits sure did deliver! I currently own ‘That Glow’ and ‘Sweets’ and have been back and forth with myself on whether to purchase ‘Sun Dipped’. While I really loved the kit, I felt like ‘That Glow’ covered all my bronze goddess needs. But then my girl Tiny hooked me up with the only color in the kit that I HAD to have – Bronzed – and I was golden! Want to see what it looked like on me? Keep reading for a blinding swatch!

Beauty powerhouse Anastasia Beverly Hills just released her fourth and fifth Glow Kits last week to a bunch of frenzied beauty fanatics who bought them up like hotcakes! I purchased the ‘Sweets’ Glow Kit and I’m definitely loving it, but I can’t help but compare several of the shades to a few already in my collection. Is it worth the buy? Or can you get away with ‘the look for less’? Read on to find out!
First Impression: Tarte Cosmetics x MakeupShayla Tarteist Contour Palette
I typically don’t purchase from Tarte Cosmetics because they rarely create base shades that match my skintone. Some of their formulas are to die for, but if I can’t find foundation to match my skin, what’s the point? I was so excited when they announced their collaboration with makeup artist and beauty guru @makeupshayla: a contour palette for medium/dark skintones. I was super intrigued so I purchased it and now that I’ve had a chance to swatch, I wanted to share my initial thoughts with you guys. Keep reading for more!Continue Reading
Review: Anastasia Beverly Hills Glow Kit in ‘That Glow’
The queen Anastasia Beverly Hills released two, four pan highlighter palettes earlier this year and all the highlighter gods were pleased! These palettes, called Glow Kits, are ridiculously pigmented and are key to achieving the maximum strobe effect. I threw these all over my face so to see shades on my skintone and hear how fabulous these are, keep reading!Continue Reading
